Toyota’s iconic off-road SUV returns for 2024 with a powerful hybrid powertrain, new tech features, and a style that artfully combines the old and the new. Offering seating for 5 and plenty of cargo space, the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser makes every adventure more comfortable.
2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Basics
The Land Cruiser’s i-FORCE MAX hybrid engine puts you in control of 326 net horsepower and 465 lb.-ft. of torque when you get behind the wheel. This system can tow up to 6,000 lbs. and averages an EPA-estimated 23 MPG combined. For better traction over any terrain, the Land Cruiser comes with a standard full-time 4-wheel drive system with Active Traction Control and a locking Torsen limited-slip center differential.
Inside, you and 4 passengers stay comfortable with heated front seats and three-zone automatic climate control with separate settings for the driver, front passenger, and rear-seat passengers. Storage is convenient, with 12 cup and bottle holders throughout the cabin and 37.5 cu. ft. of cargo space behind the rear seats. When equipped with roof rails and crossbars, the Land Cruiser can carry up to 165 lbs. of additional gear on its roof.
All-New for 2024
After a brief hiatus, the Land Cruiser returns in 2024 better than ever before with a new boxy look, flat roof, and heritage grille. Shoppers can choose from the Land Cruiser grade’s rectangular LED headlights or the classic circular LED headlights that come with the Land Cruiser 1958 and First Edition grades. The hybrid powertrain is also new for the Land Cruiser, making the 2024 model the most fuel-efficient Land Cruiser ever.
Off-Road Features
The Land Cruiser is ready for off-road adventures right off the lot, with front and rear tow hooks and a front skid plate that protects the engine, transmission, and transfer case. In the cargo area, there’s a 120V AC power outlet that provides power to your household devices anywhere you travel.
Land Cruiser and First Edition grades come with even more off-road equipment, like a Stabilizer Disconnect Mechanism that provides additional wheel articulation to help you travel over uneven terrain. These trims also have a Multi-Terrain Monitor, so you can see what’s around and underneath your vehicle on a 12.3-inch touchscreen display.
